The Tomorrow’s Leaders Program is an esteemed scholarship initiative sponsored by the U.S. Department of State’s Middle East Partnership Initiative (MEPI). Since its establishment in 2006, this program has become a beacon of hope for students from socioeconomically underserved communities across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA).
It offers fully funded undergraduate and graduate scholarships to those who exhibit exceptional academic potential, leadership abilities, and a commitment to community service. This transformative program not only uplifts individuals but also enriches the cultural and geographic diversity of the MENA region.
“The Tomorrow’s Leaders Program partners with top universities like AUC, AUB, and LAU to offer a world-class education in the liberal arts tradition, focusing on critical thinking, problem-solving, and leadership. Beyond academics, the program emphasizes leadership development and civic engagement through internships, activities, and workshops. Participants gain practical skills to address regional challenges and become leaders. Undergraduates can study in the US for a semester, broadening their perspective and enhancing leadership skills. Upon graduation, they join a network of over 1,000 alumni making a difference in the MENA region.”
