Qualifications and Requirements for Professional Driver Position
To be considered for this role, candidates must have:
- A High School Certificate, OND, or an equivalent qualification.
- The ability to drive courteously and efficiently.
- A strong work ethic, diligence, and a positive attitude.
- Physical fitness to handle the demands of the job.
- A respectful and reserved demeanor.
- Reliability and punctuality in all tasks.
- Extensive knowledge of road navigation across Lagos State, with a special focus on the Island.
- A friendly and dependable nature.
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
- A minimum of 7 to 10 years of driving experience.
- A valid Driver’s License.
- Residency on the Island or its surrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities of a Professional Driver
As a professional driver, you will be responsible for:
- Providing safe and reliable transportation for both the vehicle and its occupants.
- Driving courteously and adhering to all safety regulations.
- Ensuring that all vehicle documents and particulars are up-to-date and valid.
- Maintaining the cleanliness of the vehicle on a daily basis.
- Planning and communicating the most efficient routes for travel.
- Ensuring the vehicle is well-maintained and serviced as needed.
