Key Responsibilities
Design Customized Travel Itineraries
As a Senior Travel Consultant, you will design travel arrangements and itineraries tailored to the needs of our VIP clients and important customers. Your expertise in creating bespoke travel plans will ensure unforgettable experiences for our clients.
Conduct Comprehensive Destination Research
Research various destinations, travel options, and cultural nuances to provide clients with up-to-date information on prices, customs, weather conditions, and reviews. Your insights will help clients make informed travel decisions.
Offer Expert Travel Advice
Identify clients’ preferences and recommend suitable travel packages and policies. Provide travelers with essential information and useful travel materials, such as guides, maps, and event programs, to enhance their travel experience.
Coordinate Travel Arrangements
Coordinate and confirm all travel arrangements, including hotel accommodations, car rentals, and flight bookings based on client requests. Ensure all details are meticulously organized for a seamless travel experience.
Manage Vendor Relationships
Maintain relationships with key vendors, track pricing, rebates, and service levels. Your ability to manage these relationships will ensure the best possible deals and services for our clients.
Deliver Engaging Sales Presentations
Create and deliver sales presentations that are consistent with our marketing communications and tailored to the audience. Your presentations will drive interest and bookings for our travel packages.
Collaborate with Sales and Marketing Teams
Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to identify gaps in travel packages and generate innovative ideas to promote our trips throughout the year. Your collaboration will drive business growth and enhance our offerings.
Improve Customer Experience
Communicate customer issues to the operations team and devise strategies to improve the customer experience. Resolve problems and complaints efficiently, ensuring client satisfaction.
Pursue Business Growth Opportunities
Identify and pursue opportunities for business growth, such as partnerships or new initiatives. Your proactive approach will help expand our reach and take advantage of market opportunities.
Promote Travel Packages
Use promotional techniques and prepare materials to sell itinerary tour packages. Your creativity and marketing skills will attract more clients and boost sales.
Engage with the Community
Handle community engagement on all our social media channels. Your interactions will foster a strong online presence and build a loyal customer base.
Resolve Unforeseen Issues
Handle unforeseen problems and complaints, determining eligibility for refunds when necessary. Your problem-solving skills will maintain client trust and satisfaction.
Contribute to Strategic Planning
Provide operations information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews. Implement production, productivity, quality, and customer service standards. Complete audits and identify trends to support the company’s strategic goals.
Train and Supervise Junior Consultants
Train and supervise junior travel consultants, ensuring they are equipped with the skills and knowledge to satisfy clients’ travel needs. Your mentorship will develop a competent and effective team.
Stay Updated with Industry Trends
Attend conferences, seminars, talks, and marketing events to stay updated with the latest tourism trends. Your continuous learning will keep our offerings relevant and competitive.
Additional Duties
Perform any other duties as assigned by your line manager, General Manager, or Director(s). Your flexibility and willingness to take on new challenges will contribute to the overall success of our team.
